Jim Ellowitch, CLU, ChFC

James N. Ellowitch, CLU, ChFC, has spent the last 45 years selling life and health insurance, managing sales people, and consulting about insurance & related employee benefit plans. Jim specializes in the use of insurance for business and estate planning, as well as complex asset and family situations. He is the managing member of Ellowitch 3, LLC and speaks frequently at insurance and non-insurance meetings.

Jim graduated cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving the American Society of Insurance Managers award, the Wharton School's highest award given to an insurance major. He received his Chartered Life Underwriters designation in 1971 and his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1983, both from the American College. In addition, he holds the American College's Certificates in Pension Planning, Estate Planning, and Modern Management.

A past President of the Northern New Jersey Estate Planning Council, a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table* and a past President of the Greater Essex Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Jim is also a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.

Jim is an avid golfer and bike rider. In addition to sunny days on the links, he enjoys spending time with his wife Gail; four children: Daniel, David, Michael, and Dori; and seven grandchildren: Hope, Trey, Trinity, Harper, Meredith, Avery, and Eli.
